Fred Grunewald was born in St. Vincent´s Hospital in Manhattan, NY in April of 1945. His parents moved to Yonkers later that same year, where he lived in the same building with his cousin, Bill Grunewald for over ten years, which he says, “… explains a great deal about my behavior.” Fred attended P.S. Fred attended Voorhees Technical College where obtained an Applied Science Degree in Electronics Technology in 1967. Immediately upon graduation, Fred began employment with IBM Corporation in their Filed Engineering Division as a Customers Engineer.
