Tom Kearns was born and spent the first chapter of his life in Jersey City, NJ. It was here he met and married the love of his life Sharon. They moved to Belford, NJ in 1978 and soon moved to Lincroft, NJ where they spent the next 30 years raising their 2 children, Colleen and Tom. Colleen and her husband Andrew own a business and live in Boca Raton, FL with Sharon and Tom’s four grandchildren. Tom graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in 2020 and is currently doing his residency as an ER doctor at Yale New Haven hospital in CT.
Tom’s business career began in the wholesale photofinishing industry. He started as a customer service rep and worked his way up to National Sales Manager, Special Markets for Fuji Photo. During this time, Sharon and Tom also owned a 1-hour photo lab in Red Bank NJ. It was pretty cool having Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi as two of their more recognizable customers. However, both Sharon and Tom saw digital photography on the horizon and made a career move by starting their own promotional products company in 1998. Tom still remains involved in the company on a daily basis. Sharon, unarguably the smarter of the two, has retired.
Sharon and Tom moved to the Mirage in 2017 and it is everything they hoped it would be. They love to travel, especially cruising to exotic destinations. However, their favorite destination is Boca Raton to visit their grandchildren.
